During
the 2003/2004 school year four teachers from the high school participated
in a Lesson Study project through CDE. We took three lessons, one
in Algebra 1, one in Algebra 2, and another in Geometry and worked together
to design the lessons. One teacher would teach a lesson the first
time, we would debrief and revise the lesson and another teacher would
then teach the revised lesson. After the second lesson was taught,
another debriefing and revising session took place. Our three lessons
included: Special Segments in Triangles, Analyzing Quadratic Functions,
and Graphing a Linear Equation Using a Table. If you would like to
