Communicating with science educators:This site has a Forum tool that allows us to talk about what is happening in science education in Colorado. To access this Forum (Science Education in Colorado), contact Lori Reinsvold (lori.reinsvold at unco.edu) to receive a log in. The CSEN listserv provides a means for exchange of ideas and information among CSEN participants. At present, the list is hosted by the University of Colorado at Boulder and is moderated by Sandra Laursen and Nancy Kellogg. The list is moderated (to reduce spam) and is used for CSEN meeting information and announcements or questions that pertain to science education leadership in the state of Colorado. The CSEN list reaches primarily district science coordinators and science educators from higher education and informal education who work with schools. It is thus a good place to share info, post questions, and gather ideas about policy issues, research findings, professional development resources, and other "big picture" issues that affect Colorado science education. While some classroom teachers are CSEN members, the list does not primarily reach science teachers directly.
