Making Opportunities Affordable for Hispanic Math and Science Students

This program is designed to increase the enrollment of Hispanic students in mathematics and science related majors.

UNC First-Year Experience seminar: a required class that is designed to help Hispanic students make the transition from high school to college.
Academic support services that are available to students in the program, for example access to upper-level math and science tutors
Learning Communities: Students enrolled in the program will be enrolled in similar courses and participate in activities, like the First-Year experience seminar.
