Northern Colorado High Plains
Math and Science Partnership (MSP)

Secondary math and science teachers now have an opportunity to take graduate level courses through the CDE funded Northern Colorado High Plains Math and Science Partnerhship (MSP). The MSP program successfully developed a comprehensive professional development program for middle school teachers from high-need school districts through a collaboration of educational leaders from the Northern Colorado High Plains Partnership.

The MSP program provided teachers a deeper understanding of mathematics and science and develops their expertise and experiences necessary so they can think about math and science like practitioners in their field.

Partners: University of Northern Colorado, Colorado State University, Weld District 6 and districts in Centennial and Northeast BOCES.

Teachers can continue to access the courses and programs that were developed by Northern Colorado High Plains Partnership. The courses can be used towards MA degrees from UNC.
