Dear CSEN and SciCo members,
I recently launched an online survey of Colorado K-12 public school teachers, as a part of my postdoctoral work with CIRES Outreach at U. of Colorado at Boulder.
The survey aims to gain a better understanding of the teaching of evolution and climate change in the state, and will provide valuable and timely data on these topics for educational leaders nationwide.
Please pass the following message on to any teacher email lists you have!

Dear Colorado Teachers,
Take a online survey about teaching science, and earn a $5 gift card for your time!

This educational research survey sponsored by the U. of Colorado at Boulder will "take the pulse" of Colorado public school teachers on the topics of evolution and global warming.
This is the first survey to look at both of these topics, and it will help educational leaders nationwide gain a better understanding of teacher's experiences with these publicly controversial topics.
We need 600 teachers statewide -- K-12, teaching all science topics, and representing all views -- to participate! Please take the survey today, and pass it on to your fellow teachers.
It takes ~20 minutes to complete the survey. You will have a choice of receiving a $5 gift card for King Soopers, Starbucks, or Barnes and Noble for your time.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to participate in this landmark study! To begin, go to:
